The Bellin Building is a historic office building constructed by the Bellin-Buchanan Building Co. on the corner of East Walnut St. and S. Washington St. in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin. The building is a waypoint on the Packers Heritage Trail.〔(Packers Heritage Trail-Bellin Building )〕 The Bellin Building was built in 1915, which is the first Chicago style Architecture using a Terra Cotta face with ornate bevel feature. Dr. Julius Bellin, a physician and surgeon, built it for purpose to be professional physician, dentist and medical offices. Dr. Julius owned the building from 1915-1972. The building was purchased for the second time by Robert C. Safford in 1972 and he owned it until 2006, after which the current investment group purchased it. In 1924, eighth and ninth floor were added as penthouse. One of the businesses from ninth floor was WHBY Radio station. Another unique structure is a manual elevator is built in 1947, which is one of the few existing in United States. Over the years, the Bellin Building changed a little bit, however it is still an exciting part of Downtown. It has occupied several Law Firms, Trust and Safety Company, and the Black and Tan restaurant.〔http://bellinbuilding.com〕 ==References== 〔
